Jessica Carstairs
Jessica is a registered Psychologist & clinical psychology registrar with experience in both private and public sectors, including school, community, and hospital settings. Jessica enjoys working with adolescents/youth and adults with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, personality disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties. You may also like to work with Jessica simply to better understand yourself or for personal development, which might include clarifying your values, re-connecting to yourself/others, making an important decision, increasing confidence, or finding meaning & purpose in your life.
Jessica’s approach is integrative and person-centred. Therapy looks different for each and every person and Jessica places an emphasis on collaboration with her clients to set treatment goals and tailor her approach to meet their individual needs.
Jessica firmly believes that growth can be achieved in a safe environment that welcomes honesty, genuineness, and a bit of humour at times! Jessica is passionate about supporting her clients to honour and utilise their personal strengths, resilience, and inner resources to overcome challenges, feel empowered, develop self-awareness, & regulate emotions.
