Trauma Psychotherapist, councillor, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Practice (University of New England), Master Social Work (Flinders University), BA Infosys (Monash University).

Five years of post-graduate formal studies in trauma focused therapies: IFS Internal Family Systems (Lvl 1), EMDR (Advanced), DBT (advanced), CBT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing. Mark has also been practising mindfulness for the past 13 years and is also currently coaching ‘Mindfulness’.

For five years prior to practising at the Elwood room and at The Stables, Mark’s work has been as a Mental Health Social Worker in the Homelessness area. We all become conditioned by our past which often can hinder our life’s journey.

The essence of Mark’s work is guiding clients towards self discovery, self healing, self recovery, and fulfilling whatever life can offer. Regardless of the burden, or challenge, from complex trauma and PTSD, personality disorders, grief, anxiety, depression, phobias, and addictions, self healing can be your next step.

Mark focuses on a compassionate, trauma informed, and person-centred approach, applying evidence-based trauma therapies such as the aforementioned: IFS, EMDR, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. All people and their needs are welcome.
