I trained as Chartered Counselling Psychologist in the UK, where I practiced clinically for a number of years in various areas including drug and alcohol, HIV, and migrant communities. Since my arrival in Australia in 2007, I have worked mostly as a trauma specialist working for both the Centre(s) Against Sexual Assault and Foundation House.
My training as an Integrative Counselling Psychologist ensures I have a sound theoretical knowledge and experience in the major
therapeutic modalities including humanistic, cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic, trauma theory. I believe that my training coupled with my clinical skills enable me as a practitioner to provide evidence based short to mid and longer term therapeutic services to Individuals, couples and young people with a wide range of presenting difficulties including bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, depressive illnesses, personality difficulties, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, complex trauma, PTSD and attachment disorders.
I am registered as a Psychologist with APHRA and Medicare.
